Chowning’s Roll
Ingredients:
3 5/8 cups Bread Flour
1/4 tablespoon Salt
1/2 tablespoon Instant Yeast
1/2 cup Warm Water
1/2 tablespoon Oil
1 Egg White
Mix the flour, salt and yeast. Add water, oil and the egg whites. Mix to a well-developed dough.
Let rest for 1 1/2 hours. Punch down and let rest for one more hour.
Form dough into 3 to 4 oz rolls.
Let rest until doubled in size.
Bake in a preheated 400-425 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
Yield: 6 Rolls
